Our studio, founded in July 2006, is composed of a team of professionals specialized in designing and creating eyewear (both ophthalmic and sunglasses) collections, for both optical channel and clothing/accessories shops distribution.
It has originated from the meeting of four people who had previously worked together for several years in the Design Department of both Italian and international Eyewear Companies, and one company, Prophilo, which has been operating on Far East countries for many years, developing new projects in terms of product development and distribution.
Lucio Stramare is the founder of the group. He has been working in the eyewear field for over 20 years. Experienced connoisseur of fashion trends, he has been collecting eyeglasses, fashion books and reviews for more than 20 years, creating a valuable archive. His personal ancient frame collection is being used for an itinerant exhibition, “Arte del Vedere”, showing frames dating back to 1400 and getting to the 80's of last century.
His knowledge of the eyeglasses history, together with the passion which has always linked him to the eyewear field, make him an appreciated designer capable of interpreting present and upcoming trends with skill and originality.
